On July 28, 2008 Flat Peach Festival Open in Lvxiang of Jinshan . People can celebrate it by travelling in the peach garden, enjoying the delicacy of peaches, learning to pick and draw peaches.

Flat peach has been planted in Lvxiang for over 30 years and it is the largest planting base in China and occupies an area of 6.7 square kilometers. Huangmu flat peach, known as king of peaches, characterized by big size, small pit and delicate flesh, is famous for its sweet and fresh taste. In 2007, it is elected as the first group of fruits provided to the 2010 World Expo.

During the festival, there are various activities, such as the appraisal of King Peach, China Peasant Painting Competition, the exbition of dishes cooked with peaches, Driving to travel and pick peaches in the peach garden and Lvxiang sports meeting.
