The rencent statistics of the monitoring for atmosphere quality of 2007 has shown that Jinshan keeps the top position of the 19 districts and county in Shanghai.

For 92.9% days of the whole year, the atmosphere quality has been accessed excellent or good, which ranks first in the whole city. The water quality index reached 5.2, which is the second place.
