At the grand spring exhibition for agricultural and sideline products held recently in Shanghai, the vegetable processing plant of Yinlong Company, based in Jinshan district, was named as a production base to serve the agricultural product sub-center of Shanghai International Merchandising Center (IMC).  The plant is the only  vegetable production base named in this international merchandising center.  The base consists of 14 farms in the 9 towns of the district, covering a total area of 21,000 mu (about 1,400.7 hectares).  Recently, the quality and safety centre for agricultural products, the China Ministry of Agriculture, granted pollution-free agricultural product certificates to Yinlong’s four vegetable products, namely, head lettuce, cauliflower, cabbage, and broccoli.  And the company is permitted to use the national pollution-free product mark on the packages of the four vegetable products.
