Property registration refers to the registration of land-use rights, housing property rights and other rights such as mortgage, pledging and leasing. Property developers must carry out preliminary registration and obtain property certificates. Home buyers must register at the trading center to which the house belongs by presenting the sales contract and apply to get the property certificates. Sellers of existing units must hold the property certificates, and buyers can register and get the property certificates once they have the sales contract.
